Jira - Change field name of a value:

This document explains how to change field name of a value in a Jira ticket.

How to:

1. Go to the Jira Project you want to change things in. Look for the cogwheel in the top right corner. Click it and choose the option ‘Issues’.
   
2. Then go to the menu on the left and look for the category named ‘Fields’. Click on ‘Custom Fields’.
   
3. Search for the name of the field you want to edit. Click the 2 dots to the right of the name. Then choose the option you want to edit.
   
4. What you click in here depends on what you need to change. In this case we are going to change the ‘Options’.
   
5. Click ‘Edit’ again and change the name. Click ‘Update’.
   
   

And you are done. 😄
