This page describes how to remove a category request from Portal and from Slack.

How it originally looked:

Remove in Portal in Jira:

1. Sign in to Jira. Choose the option named ‘Request Types’ and then Service requests.
   
   

2. Search for the wanted request option. Click the tree dots all the way to the right, and choose ‘Edit’.
   

3. Uncheck the options that you want to remove the category from and click save!!
   

Confirm:

1. Double check by going back to the Portal and refresh the page. Get IT help should now be gone from the Common Request category.
   

Remove in Slack:

1. Go back to ‘Back to projects settings’. Now click on Chanels & self ervice and then the Chat button.
   

3. Look for the right hashtag and find the pencil icon to the right. Click it. Then remove Get IT Help (the screenshot has marked Emailed request, but the point is still the same). Click the ‘X'. Then click 'Save Changes’.
   

And you are done. 😄
