Allow other schemas to reference objects from a schema - Jira (Atlassian) - (Admin)

About:
You can allow other schemas to view and reference any objects contained in a schema. This can be used to combine individual object schemas into an even larger collection of data.
First:
I usually do this on both areas you want to link so the link is visible on both ends. But this is more my personal preference, and it is not necessary.
From Assets (Hardware):
- Open the Object schemas list view. Select Configure next to the relevant schema.
- Under the General tab, select Allow others to select objects from this schema.
From People:
-
Select Object schema in the top right and select Configure in the dropdown.
-
Under the General tab, select Allow others to select objects from this schema. Then click Back to People view, at the top left, marked by blue.
Activate Columns:
- Click the Columns button to the right.
- Check off Assigned to and Status.

And you are done. 😄
